Hi

I tiled my kitchen walls a while back, but made a boo boo and put too much grout on them and never wiped it off.. dont ask!

Would a tiler be able to clear the grout off and re grout so the tiles are saved.. or would it be better to take off and start again with new tiles (by a professional?)

both are possible. the problem is the cost of the time it takes to rake all the grout out. in my view it would be cheaper for you to remove the qrout your self and then pay some one to come and re grout it for you. To remove it (depending in the volume you have got on the tiles) a heavy scourer and lots of hot water would bring the groute of the front of the tiles and you can buy a groute rake from and diy store for a few pounds to get the groute oout fom between the tiles. But be prepard to spend time at this because it is not a quick job.

I hope this helps.
