Omg this film is amazing and heart rendering, a young girl with cancer can not survive without transplant so her mum and dad have a baby that will be a donnor. She gave her first donor of umbilical blood from birth and went through a lot of op's after.This film is based on a true story and a definate great film. Was good value at £7 at asda on offer, has not been out to long either.

Had some friends round and a takeaway (few bottles of wine) this evening.
And we blubbered from beginning to end it was amazingly acted and really hit me.

I cried too it was so moving, hope hubby don't need to wipe his backside tomorow. The cleenex and andrex have gone ,too many girls crying in one room.:hihi::hihi:

I went to cinema to watch this film, it is good and the room full of people watching it that came out of the cinema blubbing i'm sure would agree.

However, i read the book a couple of years ago and that is so much better, i would certainly recommed that!

My best mate is reading the book and says it is much better. I am going to borrow it after she has read it.

But the book was absolutely fantastic. Don't be put off by the film, this was one of the best books I've ever read.

me and my mate sat and watched this while the lads were playing computer war games upstairs and we were in tears!

I sat and watched this with my partner. Crickey. I had an idea as to the plot to the film but I never in a million years thought it would be like this. " grown men sat and cried constantly all the way through. lol. ANyone would think we were gay or something pmsl

I watched it the other night - it was good but the book was loooooads better, totally different ending too!!

I have read the book and then took my Daughter (11) to see it we cried buckets I was handing tissues out to the other ladies on our row and have to some fellas too....so there a some softies out there girls ....somewhere.... rofl

Just bought it on DVD so gunna get the girls round with a few bottles of vino and a take away and again....cry loads and loads again!!! lol

I am going to read the book I have only seen the film.
