SpeedDemon 10-03-2010, 19:24 I'd like to do that with mine too, never been to a show before Lotti 10-03-2010, 19:44 There's one in Edale in June... I don't think they start before then though to be honest. There's usually one at Ecclesfield and one in Parson Cross but like I say, no earlier than June I'm sure. Strix 11-03-2010, 09:58 without papers (as you state in another thread) you'll wind up at a charity style dog show where they have categories such as 'waggiest tail' - so not exactly a lead in to anything more serious If you're interested in showing seriously, it's a ringcraft class you need  what-dot 11-03-2010, 10:21 waggiest tail award, i would be happy with that, thats all I want something fun. do you know when and where one is? ladyB 11-03-2010, 11:11 I could make a rude joke :hihi::hihi::hihi: but I shall resist!!!!:hihi: daftlad 11-03-2010, 11:16 try the bankers draft on a friday nite what-dot 11-03-2010, 12:07 I think this is getting a bit out of hand, we still talking about dog shows peeps? Jess22 11-03-2010, 12:18 What are the details of the one in Edale Lotti? I haven't heard anything. Maybe Ozzy can get involved. I know Hope do a fun show in the summer. Ozzy won 3 rosettes there last year. Including dog the judge would most like to take home???? Mmm, think she just felt sorry for him. ladyB 11-03-2010, 13:47 I think this is getting a bit out of hand, we still talking about dog shows peeps? or even peep shows!!!!!:hihi::hihi: Sorry couldn't resist that one either. sarahfrog 13-03-2010, 07:40 Anyone who wants to celebrate doggie ownership and just have fun should aim for the charity shows. The whole family can enjoy it and nobody is under any pressure to be perfect. I've done Thornberrys' show for about 12 years now and everyone has a laugh. Ialways end it with a relay race so dogs and kids can run around shouting and let off some steam. Look out for it and enjoy and help good causes too. |
