Afternoon,
Mrs. Bacala is heading over from Manches-tar on Saturday and we're heading out for a drink. now I suggested some of the usual haunts (Dulos etc..) but my better half was not impressed. she wants to go somewhere (and I quote) 'classy' where we could maybe get a seat but basically not a run of the mill bar with same same house music and shiny shoes.
The best I could come up with was The Green Room......
Any ideas ?

Crystal is quite a nice place in the day, open, airy, sells food and has comfy seats and cocktails and many many many spirits!

Takapuna downstairs is pretty classy (imo) and the music will definitely not be the same old housey housey as I'm playing!! Expect some funk, soul and general good beats! Free before 10pm and open till 2.30am (house music upstairs - well it is Sheffield;) !)

Try my rock night at the Moorfoot Tavern. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and people are REAL and enjoying themselves. No expensive decor which you have to pay for through expensive drinks.

Reckon I know the crack!.....used to live on Sharrow Lane and popped into Tuxedo on the wkd now and again (usually for lasties!) and was always a good laugh if I'm thinking of the right folk?!

There was a bongo player upstairs but thats in the house room - he is pretty amazing dave webb i think his name is!

Well they have a missmoneypennys night there every other week and thats a fiver but tomorrow night is the normal 'Social' and thats 3 of the finest! Not too bad on the pocket!
