I am looking forward to Damien Rice at the Octagon Centre in Feb 2004, thats the only one I have tickets for in 2004.

I am also looking forward to a gig in his home town by Richard Hawley - nothing confirmed yet.

I may also go and see Chicken Legs Weaver as I have heard good reports, and the usual gigs in the area by Boo Hewerdine:thumbsup:

Live music is the best entertainment going IMHO

I saw [Spunge] last night, and Hope I can see their support NHOI seperatly sometime, Even though there were some boo's from the crowd. I am annoyed when people boo a band off stage becuase they are the supports. would they rather it be a shorter gig?

I will probably see Less than jake in manchester, and will definatly see AFI the next time they tour.

Em x

Well, In sheffield the the gigs for Ben Folds and REM should be very cool and I'm looking forward to both (espec Ben Folds). Outside of sheffield, Eels play manchester in a few weeks and I got some overpriced tickets off ebay for them (i'm a big fan, hence the stupidly priced front fow tickets off ebay). Also the polyphonic spree in manchester and u2 at twickenham are expecting me.

And as anybody who meet me at the Cat yesterday will know (the shirt was a giveaway) I'm a big 'They Might be Giants' fan and have got tickets for them playing at KoKo in Londimium end of summer.

If anybody else is going to any of the above gigs, give me a wave (i'll be the one looking like me)

The La's at the Leadmill in June. Should be great if the reports about the stack of songs Lee Mavers has written during his long sabbatical are true.

Yeah, the La's for me too. But I'm also nervous because it can't possibly live up to expectations.

Also Interpol should be a bit special. Then oasis at MCFC.

Possibly going to see NineMoreLies again at the Grapes fairly soon, and also maybe Teenage Fanclub at Leadmill on Saturday 21st May (assuming its not sold out yet).

HAWKWIND!!!

Hasnt really paid much attention to them for years - but got a 3CD best of at Xmas & just read their biography (550 pages & 35 years of cosmicness & squabbling) - so seems fitting to go & see Dave Brock, & whoever he's got tagging along, at Corp on the 21st May.

I am gutted to miss their gig in London this weekend - as plugged last night on Mark Radcliffe on Radio 2 but the rest of their gigs this summer are well worth heading to.

Wow that sounds amazing..we went to see them at the octagon (would have been much better at a festival, I'm really jealous) it was incredible - I wasn't even looking forward to it that much and it turned out to be one of the best nights of my life. They have a brilliant live vibe, really chilled and sexy.

I will go and see them whenever I can now :)

Same here, seen them at the Octagon twice and once at the City Hall. City Hall wasn't as good an atmosphere because of all the people sitting down but they did this cool Star Wars/Godfather/Scarface sketch :)
