I really really want to run the Sheffield-half marathon, but it is now closed for entries - if anyone has a place that they no longer want, please please can you let me know.

Just turn up kateh , I did last year , they will sort it out on the day as people dont turn up and they are many spaces. If not I will just run anyway, its a free country no one can stop us.

Did you have to get there early on the day? What was the process like, did you have to hang aorund till more or less the start?

Bagnall just speak to official on day about day cancellers they will give you a number on the morning. Not too early

I would also love to run the Sheffield half marathon and would be happy to fully reimburse somebody that has a place but now can't take part..

There is a easy transfer process via the Sheffield Half marathon website which enables transfer of names and numbers legally.
