View Full Version : I would like to thank you
pets@home 09-03-2010, 00:03 Following recent events i would like to thank everyone who is showing support for me & also i hope that any doubt anyone has expressed have been addressed ,to a degree im pleased the rspca have been as if i had reported someone for neglect i would want them to investigate , but feel in this case they have more important cases to deal with (fact) than just listerning to someone who as stirred this up for me. It was like being on a witch hunt.

My bold: You reap what you sow :)
I agree, if someone reported me, I wouldn't mind the RSPCA coming over - because it shows they're following it through - but then that's because I'd never expect them to take it further.
Your case just seems to be being dealt with very unfairly from what I can gather!
SpeedDemon 09-03-2010, 08:29 People like you deserve support Nigel :)
helenasq 09-03-2010, 08:42 Keep your chin up Nigel, you dp a fantastic job and I would back you up against anyone who says otherwise. Some people have got nothing better to do than cause trouble for others.
I hope everything settles down soon. What you're being put through is just so unfair and wrong.
graceomally 09-03-2010, 12:23 People have incredibly variable ideas about animal care and in the end its better if they take the trouble to get things checked than just leave it. Although its also obviously a way of creating problems for someone you dont like or whose animals you find irritating or whatever.
In the end you are vindicated if they were happy with your services and standards of practise.

I entirely agree with you Lotti - especially about it being unfair! And as for the police taking his "pit bull" type, when P@H is following the correct procedures, that's just awful.
I hope you're ok Nigel. It's awful what you're going through and I'm really shocked by what's happening - just remember that it's a reflection on the RSPCA and not you. Keep your chin up and remember what an amazing job you do with these animals, and how many lives you saved. It's not you who's in the wrong here - remember that.
Also remember all the support you've got here, and remember if you need a hand with anything then there's plenty of people on here willing (myself included) to help you out.
eeejay174 09-03-2010, 16:59 hi hun, so sorry to hear of all this!!!! Why on earthy have they taken the dog if you had met with all requirements, what justification did they have??
foxyflugel 09-03-2010, 17:45 Pets@Home - can't believe what I'm reading!!!!!!! I have been offline for a few days and have just been able to access SF. I cannot believe that your other thread was hijacked by some k***jockey and someone said they can't comment because they don't know you. I don't know you personally but I have total faith in the conditions your animals are kept in etc by sheer virtue of the fact that I have read various posts on here and you are always one of the first to offer to help - you obviously love your animals like we all do. Also I know other forum members who have met you - and they do nothing but sing your praises. Ignore the RSPCA and give them the 2 fingered salute - they need to be investigating TRUE cruelty cases. This is absolutely outrageous. I hope you get things sorted and everyone on the SF pet owners think you are great - as was reflected in their reponses and offers of help :D
Only just read other thread and I really feel for you - what an awful situation - seem the rspca are quick to jump on some people whilst ignoring others. Hope you are all sorted soon and we are thinking of you.
goldenbabe1966 09-03-2010, 18:10 Really sorry to hear about your plight pets@home ,I'm always reading all the good things you do for our poor neglected doggy's.
 I honestly cant believe the RSPCA, they seem to punish the people who care bout animals and turn a blind eye to those who dont !!!!!.
