Anyone know if it's OK for pregnant ladies to go on it? It's my birthday Sunday so I was planning on going on it, but I'll be 21 weeks pregnant?

View Full Version : Sheffield Wheel when pregnant? LJB23 08-03-2010, 21:21 Anyone know if it's OK for pregnant ladies to go on it? It's my birthday Sunday so I was planning on going on it, but I'll be 21 weeks pregnant? honeyb35 08-03-2010, 21:47 cant see any reason not to, it travels really slowly doesnt it? LJB23 08-03-2010, 22:18 Cheers, yeah that's what I thought, doesn't go fast at all, not like a fairground wheel. So should be fine, though my husband isn't too fussed about it, he says he'll go on if that's what I want but I think he'd rather not! My son wants to go on, but my daughter also says "no, too high" nanny will have to watch her! greenreen 09-03-2010, 15:08 I went on it this summer whilst being heavily pregnant - no one stopped me! x-GiGgLeS-x 09-03-2010, 15:42 I dont think it would be an issue. It goes slowly an its more about looking at the view of Sheffield (or so I believe) and I dont think this would harm your unborn. Although I dont know why anyone would want to pay £6.50 each for that! LJB23 14-03-2010, 17:08 Well I went all the way to town to go on the wheel and it was bloody shut - just my luck! :( x-GiGgLeS-x 14-03-2010, 20:43 I saw them climbing up the ladders on it yesterday. It was broke down just be lucky you wasnt at the top :) LJB23 14-03-2010, 21:39 I saw them climbing up the ladders on it yesterday. Kirstyg 22-03-2010, 12:45 I work on the wheel.. you can go on when your preganant :) And the wheel wasn't broken they were waiting for a new computer (thats why it was closed) and were probably just doing a bit of maintanance whilst they had the chance. Its staying untill January 2011. gina2007 22-03-2010, 13:47 Just go in the lift in Castle Market up to top floor :hihi:.
