Jackie at CATS has had an enquiry. Although I've looked at Council website I think the pups on there have been rehomed.
Any info please? I don't want to ring the pound, they must be up to their eyes with looking after the 40+ dogs in there. x

the three staffy crosses from a week or so ago have all found homes (according to a thread on here)

I think it may be possible to express an interest in the next litter of pups to come in (unless the person I know who had a pup from there was actually contacted by a third party rescue and it was more complicated than that)

The RSPCA may also be a good place to make enquiries

Hi there Strix...I didn't know if you had anything to do with the Rain Rescue website...? Just would like to know some more information about it, as I've seen a dog on there I would like to re-home.

Hi Clur :)

Yes, I am normally a RainRescue volunteer, mainly as a fosterer rather than having anything to do with the website, but I'm kind of on maternity leave at the moment ;)

You should be able to find an email address on the newly re-done website, or if not, pm rainrescue on here and I'm sure Jaq will get back to you ASAP

Was it a dog actually currently in the care of RainRescue or was it a dog at one of the other rescue centres we provide webspace for?

The contact details are on Rainrescue's website. Good luck, there are some real stunners on there.

All dogs on the council website have been rehomed/rescued.

Rain rescue will have the most up to date list of dogs at the pound.

There's one young x breed girly in at the minute that is ready for adoption, about 4-6mths? Very cute with HUGE ears to grow into. Picture should be on Rain site asap.

Still lots of other dogs at the pound needing homes. The council site doesn't get updated very often unfortunately and they only put 6 dogs on (usually 18+dogs waiting for new homes)

I thought there might have been more to be honest but i just seriously need to consider and think properly about rehoming one I have a young yorkshire terrier and a 15 month old little girl and I would love to help rehome a dog from a pound or rescue etc but need to consider whether it would be fair on my dog, little girl and the new dog too. I am always tempted but need to have a serious think about whats best to do i would have every dog in pounds and rescues if possible haha.

PS.Jinxsta the url in your signature doesnt work just copy and pasted into browser and comes up with page does not exist. just though id let you know.

O dear o dear o dear. did you have tooooo, I adore all dogs but my yorkie is such a character and i could only cope with small dogs anyway. male/female? whats it like with dogs and children?-both my dog and my baby have been round a large lab and a toy poodle so are used to other dogs.

Is there any pics of the yorkie on rain rescue site? ive had a look but cant find it could be a case of me not looking in the right place or just been blinded by the amount of gorgeous staffys that seen to be on there its shocking how many are looking for a new forever home

I'm slowly trawling through and updating as much as i can of the rain site. We had to take it back and get it updated quickly - its been a b**** dy nightmare.

Anyway - we are back on track, and ive added loads of dogs on that are looking for homes. I 've also been out to netherlands today and taken some pics of ours that are there and seen some others that are in. My god there are some lovely ones in - its so heartbreaking all the time.

Clur88 - let me know what type it is you are looking for, and i will see if i can point you in the right direction.

im not necissarily after a puppy just I have a yorkshire terrier who will be 1 in may and Jinxsta happened to mention there was a yorkshire terrier in need of rescue who happens to be around 18mnths old. Rebel (my yorkie pup) is fully housetrained and crate trained. if there was an older yorkshire terrier id gladly look as i know the older ones seem to take longer to rehome.
