unklebob's post on running your car on water. £2.00. It says I don't have permission to read it. It would be nice to run my car on water but I am denied the recipe. Ah well........such is life.

But was there anything offensive in it?

Maybe it was moved to "Bored" - try in there.

Maybe you should've gone to school? Or at least make thread titles more descriptive in future. ;)

I was going to write a quip on poor eyesight, but thought it best not as someone would have moaned that it may offend someone with poor sight - I'm sure the partially sighted person wouldn't have been able to read it anyway, unless their TFT has built-in braille (!)

Well......I never intended to offend or upset anybody with this post but obviously I have done. I apologise profusely to both t020 and amhudson119. I did go to school.......and I am not short sighted. Spyro was obviously clued up enough to be able to follow where I was going and make a civil reply without resorting to sarcasm. Ahhhh......but that is what education does for you. Anybody with half a brain in their head would read the line of "dots" at the end of the introduction as a fore runner to the actual thread.
In other words it was intentional in order to draw attention to my thread.......and it worked didn't it? I was making a genuine enquiry........why couldn't I read unklebobs post. As I posted my message the thread in question was in the process of being deleted. However, I did intend to draw attention to my question and if it offends anybody then I am sorry.
I would still love to know how to run my car on water though. lol

I read the thread before it was deleted, and just to let you know, ir didnt tell you how to run your car on water, but basically it was a thread about people selling information about it on ebay.

It may draw attention to it, but it's against the site rules which stipulate that thread titles should be meaningful and descriptive. Ask a moderator. Imagine how difficult the forum would be to navigate if all threads were just "Why can't I read"..... or "How do I......", "where is....." etc.

It seems the moderators have given up on things like that... and when topics have been done before, and when people post stupid replies like 'LMAO that was sooo funny' and other such things.

t020 for mod!!

And yet, even though he's one of the longest standing, and most prolific forum members...

...he still isn't.

How'd that happen?

:heyhey:

Regarding running your car on water:

You'd need to have some electricity supply to convert the water into its two elements, namely Hydrogen and Oxygen. Combine the two in the right proportions and you would have the means to power a car.

Waste products from this would be water and a liberal supply of scorched scientists.

Do you know where to send the £2-00?

Do you remember when there was that speight of

"Thread title......................"
"Discuss......................"

Intensely annoying, as the OP never gave their opinion of what they wanted to discuss!

The thread was pointless and just a link to an ebay scam. Thus, It was removed.

Not much point in keeping this open.
