People on this forum should chip in and have a day out to see the helicopter. It seems you all like looking at it. Perhaps you could all ride in it one day and take a picnic and make a day out at the airport.

no i dont have a boring life. just got in from work and winding down. its just general chit chat really. dont post much on here cos of the usual insults. had a bet with my mate here that if i posted they would be an insult. and im right. why dont u get a life if your so bored u have to read borin posts?

It was a generalisation of some of the posts on the website as a whole and not just this one.

We all chip in on here to make sheffield and the world a better place, from people reporting little kids left in cars to a complete 'nutter' walking down the street brandishing a metal bar hitting things with it completely off his head- which funnily enough- I posted about in Hackenthorpe a while back.. precisely to stop the good people of the forum and sheffield meeting him while on the street outside and perhaps getting a beating for no reason.

Thats why I think people post on here with these things.

Because we do actually care about people enough-and about our area to make it a better place, and if we can do that by posting on this forum and getting the message across that these things are happening and where they are.. we can help everyone in some way.

The police helicopter serves a purpose, to catch people doing stuff that is wrong.. I'd rather it be up in the sky aiding our police force to catch idiots I'd rather not be seeing on the streets :)

It was probably a car backfiring. They cause the most bangs in the street.

Then again, fireworks make banging noises, but not as well as cars do. They're LOUD.
