Title sums it up really. I need directions to the Sheaf Inn from hunters bar. Would be useful if I could have them within the next 40 mins too. :D

from hunters bar go via psalter lane to nether edge then follow the main road thru nether edge, straight thru the cross roads down sheldon road and cross straight over abbeydale road.. turn right off broadfield road before heeley baths.. second left which takes you under the railway bridge and onto chesterfield road near arnold lavers.. left there towards heeley bottom and carry on til you get to the bridge inn and take the right just before the pub and you'll see the sheaf in front of you up the hill....

Hang on.. think I have the wrong pub.. is the sheaf inn the same as the sheaf view?

easiest way...

head straight down ecclesall rd towards city centre...

turn right at kwik fit onto summerfield street

accross the crossroads up washington road..

left at 2nd crossroads onto sharrow lane,

left onto london rd, immediate right onto woodhead road,

2nd right onto alderson road... this will bring you out directly opposite the sheaf...

Ah.... the sheaf Inn is off London Road.. I got my Sheafs confused!

Best thing with directions is to use Google Maps..

Well I'm still struggling with Bandit's directions, but either the Sheaf Inn is actually in Nockturn Alley, or it really is the Sheaf View (http://www.abbeydalebrewery.co.uk/pubs/pubs.html#Sheaf_View) coz yell.com, Upmystreet, and Google have no trace of it :(

Yeah, it was the Sheaf View. Bandits directions got me to the Sheaf House (I think), I then got lost for 15 mins and eventually found it. Luckily my friend had got me a drink in before last orders. :)
