Did anybody else see the CCTV clip on Calendar of the crazy foolish kid who thought he was 'Reyt Ard!' by standing on a rail track and jumping off at the last minute.

I'd say that it's a bad thing he didn't get hit, but think of the driver and the hell he'd go through. If trains weren't manned by a driver, the idiots SHOULD get killed :cool:

According to the report on this story on the ITV News website the youth involved said he did it "for a laugh" which of course makes it all right. Indeed, if police are called to any incident in future and a suspect says they have done something "for a laugh" the police should leave them alone. Actually, I'd go further and say that this youth should be made Prime Minister as soon as possible because if Britain was run by thinkers who were as intelligent and original as him this country could be transformed overnight. You know it makes sense.

I saw the CCTV footage on the news and couldn't quite believe it. He could've given it another half second at least. :D

But seriously... what a stupid thing to do. He could so easily have misjudged the speed the train was coming towards him at.
