I'm looking for a gym preferrably in city center that doesn't charge you your life's savings to join. Are there any decent ones about anyone knows of?

hi - yeah theres the one at ponds forge - fitness unlimited (www.fit-un.com) which means you can use ponds forge / hillsborough / concord / don valley all for the one price. the one at ponds forge is pretty good i go 3 or 4 times a week. theres 2 gyms one upstairs and one downstairs and of course the huge swimming pools. it costs £19.99 a month off peak which is up to 3:30pm weekdays and any time weekends. or peak which i think is £27.99 which you can use any time. they also have loads of fitness classes you can go to included in the price. if you look on their website you can email them or ring, and someone will show you around before you join up. hope this helps - Emma
