Remember that show that came on T.V. a while back about people doing free running in London? I thought it was really interesting because i've always been interested in it. my friends and i have had the basic concept for it since high school. just climbing and jumping things, using the urban landscape as one big jungle gym. it's the most free feeling in the world.
and it got me thinking, does anyone do that sort of thing in Sheffield? Anyone interested?
:D
:D You have just watched French & Saunders lol

I saw the programme and was amazed.
But you're having a laugh - you'd have to be extremely fit and agile to do some of that stuff on the nice safe(ish) and close ground - gotta be a bit mad to be doing it on tops of buildings I think.
Nice to watch other people doing it though.
If you start doing it in Sheff - let us know where and when and I'll come spectate.
:D
i would be interested in doing it if there were any proper places to do it. like there is in London. also i dont think i would trust most of the buildings in Sheffield!!
Fletch
if you started a club i'd be in there

I don't think it's a case of "if there are any proper places to do it" - that's part of the challenge...
I used to do it all the time with my mates... when we were about 8 years old :D
Graduated to rock climbing instead
I loved that program - those guys are truly talented.
I bet Sheffield is full of good venues but it'd be a case of finding somewhere out of the public eye to start with I reckon.
