Click in the font size box on the Formatting toolbar (usually at the top of your screen in MS Word), type in the size you want and press enter. Should work!

Hi

Highlight the text you want to make bigger. Then highlight over the 72 option and type in 100 (or whatever) and hit return.

That should do it.

You don't have to stick to the font size options in the drop down box Jane, just type in whatever size you need.

Hope that helps.

A nice trick is to highlight your text and then press
Ctrl & ] to increase it's size
Ctrl & [ to decrease it's size.

That way you can size it up as much as you want without having to keep going to the menu.
