The 53yr old Macclesfield Town boss has died after returning home from their game against Notts County last night

he had a brain anuerism in 2003 but had been in fairly good health rcently

our thoughts go out to his family and friends

The funeral will take place of the late Keith Alexander at14:00hrs on Monday 15th March 2010 at Lincoln Cathedral.

His widow,Helen and family will welcome all who wish to attend.

A private burial service will be held following the service.

The League Managers Association are accepting donations on behalf of the Keith Alexander Memorial Fund.

I had a good natter with Keith Alexander in Debenhams in Meadowhall a few years ago, his wife and my wife were clothes shopping and I spotted him and had a chat, what a lovely down to earth bloke. Unfortunately I can't make it Brian but I hope there's a good turn out Monday.

I'm almost certain to miss it (though I'd like to go), but I'm sure there will be more than just Imps turning up to celebrate a manager who was as personable as they get.

Enthusiatic, passionate and funny, he is sorely missed. A genuine good guy.
