We are looking to move and would like to hear from anyone who lives around the area and could tell me what it is like, especially Montgomery Terrace Road.

Well I wouldn't particularly move to Montgomery Terrace, there is a mosque at the bottom, which is always quite crowded, Tesco lorries coming at all times of the day and night, and if I remember correctly there is also a home for "wayward" children on there.

My ex and his elderly mother lives on the upperthorpe estate just a little way from there it comprises of flats and houses ,that seems ok its a very clean and tidy estate ,however i wouldnt live where you are suggesting Mandem is correct it would be a living nightmare i go up that road when visiting my ex and theres always something going on that Mosque has people spilling out onto the street and i think they give free food away because i have seen large numbers coming out with bags and arms full of vegtables etc.

If I was you I would give the whole area a miss, I'd say its one of the worst area's in sheffield.
