I am thinking about going swimming one day a week with the other half.

What is Stocksbridge Leisure Centre like for swimming in?

Also how much is it likely to cost and is their adult sessions in the evenings?

I haven't been in a long long time. From what I remember there are two pools, one big and one small.

You'll be able to find more information at their website, which I located via google search.

I hope that helps.

leisure centre at Stocky is fine - they have adult only sessions - for lane swimming - times are different at the moment cos of school holidays - there is two pools - but no slides or waves or diving boards - can still recommend it - also if interested they have splash sessions for kids and have a big inflatable in large pool at certain times - enjoy!
