hi ive been having trouble with logging on to the net , if i turn my pc on i have to wait for ages before i can get on firefox to surf , and when im on changing pages takes for ever , ive done a speed test with my provider and its all ok , its a decent set up and used to be ok a month or so ago , somtimes the screen freezez as thou it has to catch up or somthing , im really stressed with it i feel like binning the damm thing:rant:
what do you suggest i do??

When was the last time you did a full virus scan, have you cleared the cookies / internet history.

What spec is your PC? Processor and speed, amount of RAM etc. Decent setup is a relative term, what I consider **** you could consider the best thing since sliced bread ;)

My mate had this similar problem and he sorted it by re-setting his modem.

not done a virus scan for a while , think its a 150gb hard drive cant rmember rest i bought it off my mate who said it was a good un , ive resett modem , i run avg and window washer can i do a virus check with that??or what programmes for a full virus check are good??any free uns??
