My HV keeps saying wait till they are 6 months and they will be on march 16th but they are now 24 weeks (19 corrected) but im taking the decision to do it i cant see 2 weeks been that much of a differance i weaned my daughter at 16 weeks. I think im going to start with baby rice but what im not sure of is when to give it them and how long do i give just baby rice once a day how do you increase it etc. Would really like your opinions especially if you had a prem baby thanks.

Just to add my babies are still tiny and wigh about 14llb or so, they can sit for a while with support, can grab at things but not quite get them to mouth they are so interested in our food its almost like torture eating infront of them lol!

i downloaded the BLISS leaflet on weaning and its been really helpfull i gave my babies some rice a couple of hours ago and they loved it! They met all the criteria for weaning a prem baby so here we go!! oh im so excited:D
