Can anyone tell me which would be the best papers to buy for job hunting.
I'm in Sheffield on Friday and thought I'd pick up a few.

Sheffield Star has job section on Thursday - pop to the office on York Street and they'll sell you previous editions, so you can buy it Friday. Also Yorkshire Post and Yorkshire Jobs and Careers.

It all depends on what type of Job your looking for? Are you new to Sheffield are planning ot move here from somewhere?

I'm planning to move to Sheffield this year. I looking for admin or customer care. Would really like some sort of graphic design thing but not qualified or experienced yet.
I'm really after working in the council, cos I currently work for my local authority. I can find their jobs on the website tho and there's not much, so looking for other good stable employers.

Sod off Scarby! :hihi:

Star on a Thursday's your best bet.

Also, if you're looking for admin work, try applying for Agency work, on MySheffieldJobs (http://www.mysheffieldjobs.co.uk)

Eh? The Internet hadn't even been invented in 1970, not as we know it anyway! :loopy:

Also, 5 years ago rang, they want their OP about Sheffield job newspapers back... :hihi:
