in all seriousness I am a young avid computer fixer/builder
I have no qualifications but have built upwards of 10 computers for people (sometimes paid sometimes not)
I'm happy to offer my services at free or nearly free, the experience does me well.
:)
also I touch type at a net speed of 96 words per minute, so if you want anything typing up feel free to ask (competetive rates!)

Get yourself postcards put up in the newsagents around the unis. I am sure many would jump at the chance of having notes and assisgnments typed up.

wouldnt know what to charge tbh
I think 96 wpm is quite a long way above average too..
Yes it is way above average, typically 60-70wpm is classed as very good; typing speed is reduced by typos and display inaccuracies. When I did a speed test on a manual typewriter and hit 120wpm :D I lost about 15wpm due to 20 typo's. 5 characters = 1 word. It's a long time since I typed dissertations and I think they charge by the page. If possible I'd charge by the hour because it is often in the most awful handwriting and English can leave everything to be desired. Check Uni noticeboards to see how much other people charge, pitch slightly lower because it's highly competitive with many Uni secretaries offering similar services.

hi, I have built athlon, sempron, celeron, P4, athlon64, etc. computers
I prefer asustek as a manufacturer, they've always worked like a dream for me.
I can indeed configure drivers, software, can set up basic networking, trouble shoot peripherals, reformat, etc. etc. etc.
whats the problem?
(if you want me to give you a call PM me)
