Reading (4/5) v Sheffield Wednesday (4/1) DRAW (12/5)

If theres a contendor for a six pointer this game takes the biscuit,
Reading apart from there stumble against Blackpool last weekend have started
to put there foot on the gas results wise, before the setback against the seasiders
they had scored 10 goals in 5 games winning 4 and earning a very commendable draw
against promotion chasing West Brom.
Reading are a dangerous side at the moment and will be a tough nut to crack at
the Majeski.
Sheffield Wednesday on the other hand, after a great start under new boss Alan Irvine
have started to show cracks, skipper Darren Purse has been ruled out for up to three
weeks with a hamstring injury, and they missed him against Ipswich.
The Owls have started to struggle in front of goal also and have only managed 5 goals in
there last 6 games, just to note three of those games were against teams in the bottom 5.

PREDICTION 2-1

Barnsley (11/8) v Blackpool (2/1) DRAW (9/4)

Barnsley have a decent side down at Oakwell and have showed a real thirst to succeed
under Mark Robins, the ex Rotherham boss is doing a terrific job
and he deserves all the credit he is getting.
Although the results have been up and down for the reds recently they still have a
serious chance of reaching the play offs this season.
They know where the onion bag is having scored 10 goals in there last 6 games,
the downside is they are very inconsistent, having won 3 and lost 3 of there
last half a dozen games.
Blackpool had a decent result at the weekend against an much improving Reading side.
Ian Hollaways men have been an insipration this season under massive constraints,
and are one of the success stories of the season in the Championship.
After a rocky spell seeing them losing three games on the bounce at the end of
January and the beginning of february, they have started to show the form
what the Tangerine fans know there capapble of, sweeping both Reading
and Middlesborough aside in there last two games, two clubs which were
Premiership outfits not so long ago, the latter only last season of cause.
Blackpool have scored 7 goals in there last 6 games, but have also conceded 7 aswell
which must be a slight concern.

Doncaster (11/10) v Crystal Palace (13/5) DRAW (12/5)

Doncaster are another side who should feel proud of there achievments this season,
Uder Sean O'Driscolls leadership they have been nothing short of excellent after the
predicament they were in a few years ago, there football is as good as anyone elses
in the league and they are a tough side to beat.
Afer a topspy turvey month which has seen them score only 6 goals they have still
manged to chalk up two victories against high flying Nottingham Forest and a
Yorkshire derby win over neighbours Sheffield Wednesday, and to add to that a very
credible draw against Leicester City at the Walkers Stadium, Donny have a pretty good
defence having kept 3 clean sheets on three occsasions
in there last 6 games, the 3-0 win at Selhurst Park in December should stand them in good stead
Crystal Palace were vying for the play offs not so long ago, but have been hit
hard by going into administration, with the league being as tight as it is the ten
points which have been deucted have now put them deep in a relegation scrap.
What you also have to consider is that they were near the play offs because they
were winning games, something they have now started to struggle with.
The Eagles have conceded 8 goals in there last six games, and have lost 4 of them,#
scoring only 5 in the that time.

PREDICTION 2-1

Sheffield United (4/7) v Plymouth (5/1) DRAW (11/4)

Sheffield United will want to get back to winning ways at home to Plymouth
this weekend, after losing the chance to do just that because of the elemants
in Peterborough last week.
The Blades have had more than a concerning run of results of late and will want to put
things right against a struggling Pilgrims side.
In the last 6 games the Blades have condeded 10 goals, coinciding with the loss
of there inspirational defender and captain Chris Morgan.
5 goals in there last 6 games has seen them slip out of the play offs, but
they are still well in touch and no less than a win will do at Bramall lane.
Plymouth for all there knockers have only lost 2 games in there last six and
know how to score goals for a team in the relagation zone, scoring 7 in there last
six games including 3 against Barnsley.
Most people will think this will be a home banker but Plymouth are fighting
for there championship survival and will not lie down without a fight.

Stuff it you might aswell have this one aswell then all South Yorkshires sorted lol.....

Burton Albion (8/5) v Rotherham (6/4) DRAW (9/4)

Burton Albion still have aspirations of the play offs, although looking at the
league 2 table it tells a very different story.
Rotherham have 2 games in hand on there opponents, Notts County have got 3.
One thing they do have on there side is they have a very healthy goalscoring
record, with only Rochdale and Notts County managing to score more than them this term.
With 3 wins out of there last six Burton Albion will be a test for the Millers
having scored 11 goals in there last 6 games.
Rotherham have been up and down of late, and after a match on the quadmire which
is Don Valley would probably welcome an away trip, possibly not Burton Albion
away though in all fairness.
The millers are starting to find the going tough after a very good start to the campaign,
losing to bottom club Darlington and struggling Bournmouth, they did mangage a couple
of wins against Lincoln and Dagenham respectivley, but have drawn there last 2 games
at home after leading on both occasions.
Rotherham have scored 7 goals in there last 6 games and have conceded exactley the same.
