This must be one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Chris Martin writes such glorious music.

I'm getting X&Y for my birthday, does anyone else have it and is it worth owning? I'm expecting it to be brilliant.

Coldplay = musical dirge.

Somebody give the man a knife and let him do to his own wrists what listening to Chris Martin DRONE on makes me want to do to mine.

Bring back steps and long live girls aloud.

The man cannot sing, cannot hit high notes, all their stuff is totally LIFELESS worthless meaningless coffee table musak for the masses and I HATE THEM.

*calms down*

Sorry, it's just the 'C' word - It gets me worked up.

In the absence of anything new and wonderful from Radiohead, this is a good album and yes 'Fix You' is great!

Thing is I reckon this might be the best the album has to offer (just an opinion):)

are you really in the video?! that's quite cool!

I like the song and love the album, it's the first Coldplay album where there's not a single track I skip over in anticipation of the next track

Like a lot of new music, Coldplay's album can be listened to (for free) on XFM's website. Hint - search for Elliot Smith's last one :)

Crap with a capital C. Someone needs to take Chris Martin out for a few pints and cheer him up, the miserable whiny sod.

If you say Chris Martin can't hit the notes you must be tone deaf. I love Fix You more each time I hear it, brings a tear to my eye.

Right, I've never rated Coldplay.

But, before this album came out they were harking on about Kraftwerk and how their influence would be clear on the new album.

Er, have they been listening to a different Kraftwerk than me?

I often start sobbing when I hear coldplay...the violent emesis comes later.

Sorry, but a chance to slag coldplay? unmissable. What do they sound like? :D

It's defiantely a Radio 2 song, although they don't tend to flog music to death as much as Radio 1 do.
