Excuse my ignorance here.

I'm about to receive a new case with room for 2 case fans, of which 1 is included. I've got a spare fan of the correct size and plan to add this so I have an `in` fan and an `exhaust` fan.

My question is can you `select` intake or exhaust modes for case fans or do they come pre-set? I would have thought the easiest way was to have reversible mounting but I'm not at all sure if this is possible.

Can anyone put my vexed mind :suspect: at rest? :help:

you just fit them the other way around, so the airflows going the other way. Its usually marked on the body of the fan which way the air goes, so you just fit it with the arrow pointing in the right direction. Usually having one to suck air in on the front, and one to blow it out on the back.

I thank you.

It did seem the straightforawrd answer but I guessed that being the case I would have been wrong.

Cheers

There is (usually) an arrow on them to indicate air flow/blade rotation direction.
