Go ahead give it a go and wait for it to be knocked down! Plain Talker 22-02-2010, 10:27 Seek planning permission, basically. duckweed 22-02-2010, 10:29 You need planning permission. If you wanted to build a lobby or conservatory it depends on the size of it and whether it would impede on next doors light, as small ones do not require planning permission. Any structure which affects the adjoining building needs to have consent from that owner too. natjack 22-02-2010, 10:35 dose anyone know if i build a smal home on my garden like a bedroom/liveingroom shower and kitchen to rent out wots the rules about this sort of thingBeen there, mate. Unless you have several acres, be prepared for a load of arguments and obstruction from the planning department, basically. Best of luck. spysheriff 22-02-2010, 10:58 Been there, mate. The best thing for you to do, would be to go to Howden House in town and speak to a development control planning officer, or give them a ring. They are in the best position to advise you. Nicesheff 22-02-2010, 11:45 The OP sounds really thick. natjack 22-02-2010, 13:21 did u get wot u wanted at the end of it just something good annuf to rent outMy dad never took it any further in the end as he moved house. Basically, the problem was that he couldn't provide a completely separate drive for the new build, it would have been shared for the first few yards and they didn't like the idea. :suspect: |
