Hello,

Does anyone know anything good or bad about this phone? I just called for a free upgrade and was told by O2 it's currently off the shelf due to a software fault. This happened to my SE K700i, which resulted in me having to ditch that one and get a nokia. I'm reluctant to go for a phone that's already being repaired after such a short shelf life.

Any help?

i have one and its a great phone. i think 02 got the phone first, vodaphone do it in silver. The problem with 02 getting the phone first was that there was a problem apparently with the early versions, and they are now replacing them. ive got one that is the latest os and version and its fine.

when 02 have replaced all of the old ones they will then be able to send them to new people

ive got the 750i on o2 and i havent had any problems with it, its the best mobile phone ive ever had, photo quality is very good, very pleased, but will follow up on what youve said, :clap:

Good stuff. I just phoned and they said it's currently out of stock (no mention of a fault), and also told me I can upgrade for free, whereas yesterday it was going to cost £70, which put me off a bit!

Guess I'll just have to keep ringing.

It does look a class phone. I was happy with my K700i until it started deleting my numbers and not receiving texts. But some friends have got the fixed version and have had no problems.

i`ve had my k7001 for a few days on o2 and was very happy with it until my new contract started yesterday and suddenly i can`t send or recieve mms or email or get on the net. All was fine before so i`m suspicious that it may be the network operator and not the phone but after the weekend i`ll be ringing them up to find out. i`ve tried redownloading all the settings from the website but it`s still the same, hope it`s not my lovely new phone that`s gone kapput!! :(

I've experienced a few software faults, such as pictures not working as wallpapers occasionally and its reset itself maybe 4 times in the past 2 months, but other than that no complaints

Cool review of it here, comparing it to the 700

Now I want one ! Would be cool just having one device rather than carrying my current phone, camera and radio/mp3 player :thumbsup:

Well, I managed to get a free upgrade and can't say I'm disappointed. Just got back from V festival and the pictures I took are amazing - I didn't use my digital camera once, just the phone.

Top drawer.
