I`m wanting to put a couple of small tree branches in my budgies cage to peck on. What are the safe ones and which should i avoid?

Be careful with fruit trees - apple n pear are the only ones suitable really, n make sure they've not been sprayed. Don't use cherry, apricot, plum, peach etc... There's a list of safe trees here:

I use birch myself as perches and I made a couple of "trees" for them for when they're out of the cage. They LOVE chewing the string I used to attach the branches :)

apple trees i agree dont use plastic or concrete perches for any birds it makes there feet sore some are even concrete under the sand natural are best
