My dog has finally stopped bleeding and the swelling is slowly going down. When is she safe for her to go out in the park please? She's climbing the walls to get some proper exercise. I will have her spayed in May, I'm not going through this again, its been a nightmare. Thank you.

About day 20 she should be ok, give her a good wash so she smells less interesting, but see her reaction, she could still get mated.

I was worried about this too!! I gave her a good bath and she was fine, still was very interested in all the other dogs around her though!

I would say keep her on best guard for 2 wks after she stops bleeding...
