I think it's a 'Zenith' - an old russian-made camera and unfortunately not worth very much! Try searching 'zenith' SLR on Ebay and have a look at what's on there.
Unfortunately not worth a great deal in cash terms these days, but used to be the introduction to serious photography for many people myself included.
They probably go for less than twenty quid on ebay these days. Why not put a film or two through it.
Lots of info on Widipedia Here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zenit_(camera))
Good luck

Hi ...
any chance you post some more info ?
lens details ...
may know someone who would be interested...

Difficult to say which model it is from that angle, but I'd huess it's either a model B or an E. It depends if there's a built in light meter.
I'd guess the standard lens is a 58mm f2 manual stopping. Limited speeds 1/30 to 1/500.
looks like my practica m42 mount.

I'd go with he Zenit idea, it loooks like it has a pentaprism meter. Sadly not worth any money at all in these digital days. It was one of these that started me off in photography over 30 years ago, even then it wasn't worth much. I was given mine by a freind of my sisters.

I'd be interested in purchasing to add to my collection of old film cameras. :)
