QOTSA quit? Not according to their website. Can't find any news of this elsewhere. Josh kicked Nick Oliveri out of the band ages ago but QOTSA continues as far as I know.

Dont know about them packing up, but Joshs other band, Eagles of Death Metal, are supporting Foo Fighters on their UK tour, with the Futureheads. Ive got tickets for Manchester.
