Bene searching through - there are lots of references for chinese restuarants but none who appear to deliver.

There used to be one on Middlewodd road somwhere that delivered but I cannot remember their name  .

I would just like a nice ref for a chinese in and around Hillsborough who deliver!!

I can recommend the Golden Lee, 279 London Road.

It does free delivery on orders of £8 or more.

Tel: 258 5980

And when they say it will be delivered in 45 minutes they mean 45 minutes on the dot!

I too like wok this way, thier £8 meal deal thingies are ace! There are better quality chineses around, but wok this way is the best value and it's pretty decent food. Best quality chinese is new zing vaa on eccy rd, but they don't deliver which is a shame, means I have to walk 5 minutes down the road instead.

.....and they're both pretty damn good. I used to order from both when I lived in the area. Yum. :)

We are regulars at the Golden Lee. The delivery driver sometimes answers the phone and sounds like Roger Moore. He taught us to swear in Chinese. The House Noodles for £4 will provide you with three meals!

I would recommend Mr Tse's Chinese Restaurant located next to the Deep End in Hillsborough.

They now deliver to your door :D

Ring them on 0114 251 7886

I love the sweet & sour chicken and beef with sweet and chili sauce...mmm mmm I'm making myself hungry now

REALLY?? OOO may have to try them too! They were busy drilling something outside tonight.

Perhaps it is a notice about food delivery!

Does anybody happen to have a menu for Mr Tse's handy? :P

We used them last time after seeing this thread and it was lovely. We asked them to give us a menu with the delivery but they didn't. Just want to know if there are any special offers or anything particularly yummy and unusual on the menu ;)

Yeah we use them a lot too, must get a new menu as this one's ragged. Dunno about House Noodles feeding three, only feeds one in this house but maybe we're just greedy :D

Oooh I've found a website for Mr Tse's: Mr Tse's website (http://www.mrtses.com/)

No takeaway menu on there though.

And does anyone know if their student discount applies to deliveries or is it just eat in?

Cheers :)

Intake, Gleadless and Richmond crew, try the WAH KING at the top of Mansfield Rd, just above the Fire Station. We had there set meal for three on valentines night( not that we're greedy, but you have feed the teenager). Were we stuffed or what!
They forgot the prawn crackers but after a phone call turned up with a massive bag full ( the european prawn cracker mountain exists no longer).
And it was tasty! erm yummy yum yum!
And yes that is the name, WAH KING
