has anybody had any problems opening up the application? i've got it installed however it seems to close after 5 seconds and its driving me mad :mad:

nah mine is working spot on.... updated the firmware on me phone other day and got the new maps appplication on... works a treat..... try updating ur firmware to vesion 20.0.019 did mine through nokia pc suite

the software is updated, but just wont work fro some reason??

do i need to do anything else once its installed?

sounds like a problem with the phone, if the firmware is up to date and you've downloaded and installed the maps it should work.
works fine on my 5800.

just a thought when u load maps up go to settings and make sure internet settings are set to online otherwise it wont work...
