i was just wondering if other women have a thing for shoes i myself love them and have well over 50 pairs im not giving exact numbers. people think its mad but i like shoes is this wrong or is it up to me what i spend my money on some people like cars magazines or cars ect ect and i was wonderin if many women also really go mad for shoes.

Not sure about the 'sex bit!' but yeah i do love heeled shoes...

I used to have over 80 pairs....70% of them black!!

When we moved house the new house had no fitted wardrobes so until we got some installed I selected a few faves and the rest my Hubby stored in the garage in a large cardboard box along with my equally large collection of handbags!!

After a few weeks we got sorted went to the garage to collect my precious collection of shoes to find the garage leaked and all my shoes and handbags were wet and mouldy!!!!

I also love handbags & have great fun trying to find things that match.

i have just the essential heels, havent worn them since before i got pregnant over a year ago thou, and dont tend to wear them often because im plenty tall enough already!

maybe i should invest in some more thou.. just to fit in!

(it's the one advantage of not walking, much; using a wheelchair most of the time, means that my shoes don't wear out anything like as much! lol)

ok. here's how it pans out....

a pair of flats,
a pair of medium heels,
and a pair of high- heels to glam them up...
oh, yeah, and a pair of boots to match for when the weather is bad.. (A pair of flats, and a pair of high.. lol)

Well im a woman and i never get why some woman get all giddy and spend loads on shoes.same with my siss she got a wardrobe full of just shoes and tells me she only had em on more then one time then end up in the wardrobe :loopy:

i really can't get on board with the shoe thing.

i really don't like shopping for shoes and only do it when i really need some. i have what i would call a normal amount of all the required types - bots, heels, trainers etc. enough so that i can match them with what i'm wearing.

i've never gone giddy over a pair and get really bored when trying to find some when they are needed.

handbags though................different story...............i love them.

i have a right dificulty buying shoes cos im only a size 2 so trying to find heels now that saxons small n tall is shut is a night mare. now i just tend to live in my new rock boots cos they are sooooo comfy (ive got a purple and a black pair) it also saves on the cost of handbags to as now i dont have to match up :D

Despite my reply to D2J in t'other shoe thread, I love shoes too *sighs* My current favourites are a pair of purple very high heels that have with little flames up the sides. I absolutely adore them, even if I did nearly do myself an injury marching to Litha's shop in them :P :D

Hehe.. I don't think either Edd or I realised what sort of challenge we had set ourselves in deciding to walk from the tram :P Although as someone did point that day - If you are going to walk, then sensible footwear is generally a good idea :D :blush:

The thing was, I had only just brought them that Friday and was just too keen to wear them :clap:

I used to love shoe shopping but don't anymore - I don't have that many shoes but I have far too many handbags... lol

I looooove shoes! :D Apparently I've got faaaar too many pairs, but hey whats a girl to do?

My fave pairs are some black tie up sandals, they tie cris-cross half way up my calves and look great :D (If I may say so myself... lol)

I also love my baby pink heels... They have a 4" stiletto heel and a cute baby pink bow on the front... So cute!

My fave pair of flat shoes are my flower ones from Schuh... They've got pink sequinny/glittery bits on the flower and really catch your eye from the way they shine in the light... They're thong style sandals... wear 'em all the time!

I LURRRRRRVE shoes.

There is no point having the perfect dress, and sticking on a pair of shoes that ruin it! Shoes can make or break an outfit.

I started sorting thru my shoes, maybe give some to charity, when it came to actually choosing which ones I could let go I felt all shaky. Needless to say that I decided to make a cash donation instead lol.

I have over 80 pairs of shoes and 35 pairs of trainers, I got distracted (trying them all on) counting flip flop and slip on shoes.

Its hard for me to decided if I have a shoe THANG or a shoe BOX thang. There is just something so nice about having all the boxes stacked up in little piles.

I like hats, bags and belts too. I dont wear much jewellery so it sorta justifies the shoe thing.

I have size 5 feet which means that my friends very seldomly borrow my shoes (they all have HUGE feet!)

Its good to know its not just me! :)
