I've just found a fiver in the street.

Now a fiver isn't a huge amount to lose considering that its not mine anyway, so I feel like testing my luck and gambling it - you never know, I might reap greater rewards.

I don't want to gamble it on the boring National Lottery though. Too boring.

Any suggestions anyone?

What would you do with a found skydiver?

What's the most money you ever found?

Last time I found any money was in an old birthday card from about two years ago. The funny thing was I was skint and was just clearing my stuff about and came across it. Even stranger was the fact that it was from my great nan, who had died not long before. Could it be she had helped me out, cos believe me, I'm not one to forget where money is. SPOOKY!

If I let you have it back, would you gamble it Vidster?

I once found a £20 note on the crowded dance floor of a club. It nicely bought a round of drinks.

What to do with a fiver though Draggle? How about a couple of stellas at a forum meet {}? A charity donation? But if you want to gamble - how about a fiver on a horse, or at the dogs?

Oh and if the fiver WintersMist has found has a number 5 in the corner, AND a signature near the bottom, 'fraid it's not yours Draggle, but mine! :suspect:

Go into the Casino and put it on a number on the roulette table. If your lucks in you could win BIG!!

Years ago I found a wallet on Fargate. On inspection I found that there was a few quid in it - probably 5 or 10 quid. This was in the mid to late 1980s, so it was worth having.

Anyway, I thought that as there was a policeman wandering by I should hand it in to him.

I handed the wallet to him, he took a look and he handed it back with the suggestion that I just kept it as it would be too much trouble to fill out the paperwork.... :)

I found what I thought was £10 in front of one of those pay and display machines in a car park a few years back but when I folded it out there was 3.....:wow: £30!!

I was pregnant at the time so it came in very useful!!

If I found cash in a bag/wallet or purse I would always hand it in though or trace the 'real' owner through items inside!!

Wouldn't you???

:o

That's not a bad idea Duffer - Napoleans casino is just a few hundred yards from our house.....

Do you have to buy a £5 'chip' or something?

I never have a bet on anything Draggletail. I wouldn't know how too  The two Stella's sound good though

I once found a wallet behind Park Hill flats. It had loads of ID including address. I phoned the police to ask someone to pick it up whenever they could. The cheeky so and so told me to go take it back!

I can't post my reply :suspect:

Throw it away DT because it will make you deformed, why you ask? quite simply because for the rest of your life you will walk around hunch backed looking for another..........far better to bin it and enjoy a hunch free existence.:P

Alternatively you could send it to me cos I am already hunched and crippled. :D

Just to suggest something extremely against what you want to do...Sent it to cancer research...How many times have you watched a program/advert/comic relief and had the good intentions to donate but then never bothered? Make a point of taking this to a worthwhile charity...even maybe to your local church donation. Just think how good that will make you feel as opposed to the feeling that you would get if you lost it on a measely roulette table!!! Enough...you will do what you will.. good luck and let us know! X
