Flaregroove @ the Halcyon 9pm-1am

Playing lots of retro soul music to a busy dancefloor. The past few events have been very busy.

I will be behind the decks too!

So, er, yeah, can anyone tell me what 2 Left Feet is?...

depends on the guest djs i think - when we played there the resident was playing breaks and dubby stuff and we played electro, ragga and a bit of hip hop. it seems quite an eclectic mix, in a good way - paul sleaze played there, amongst others.

krystal: we're doing another rough disko at the grapes too, with us playing electro/punk house/ragga/grime/hiphop etc, and special guests the yell playing live. goes on til 11 so you could always do both, and it's only £2 in at both venues

2 left feet throw pretty much everything into the pot and see what comes out the other side. Dub, Reggee, Electro, House, Breaks, Soul, Techno and pretty much everything else. It depends on who is the DJ.
It is more like a house party than a club night and good fun.

Notorious, you say?

Do you reckon they'd play Breakfast Club Soundtrack type music?

Anything that was popular in the 80s is fair game as far as I've heard!

Anyone know of a good indie night? That's one thing I'm still having trouble tracking down in Sheffield! Is Brighton Beach indie? We can't go there anyway (curse of the ex-boyfriends).
