in contrary ,there are no shared facilities apart the common entrance to the building and parking area.
there is no access to my flat to anyone else and I own my entire flat which comprises of a sitting room,2 bedroom, kitchen and the bathroom.
the cluster is what is mentioned on HA website to describe the Barnes court flats.

I asked this, because Northern Counties (as was in the eighties when these developments were originally built) had a number of developments such as the ones on Oxspring Bank, and Newfield Farm, as well as Barnes Court, originally, which were designated as cluster flats.

The definition of the Northern Counties Housing Association's cluster flats being "flats with two, or four (or, in the case of Newfield Farm Close, six) bed-sitting rooms, with shared Kitchen/living and bathroom areas." (sharing, equally, water and fuel bills)

Having, thankfully, escaped from such shared purgatory, a quarter of a century ago, I really was reluctant to go back to that style of accommodation.

Offered: 3 bedroom. S5. Double glazed windows (not council ones - she did these herself before council modernised). New front door and back again not council ones. From the front door, you walk in to the entrance hall. Which has a storage cuboard (used for coats, prams, shoes, hoover, mop etc very big). To the end of the hall is the kitchen, which has a council fitted kitchen but the cupboard doors are her own, these are black with silver handles. Granite worktop, with a drainer carved into the side of the sink. It has 9 floor units, and 7 wall units. Grey/black floor tiles, laid 4 months ago. And grey/black wall tiles, plastered bits of the walls are orange. Space in the kitchen for cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher (incl plumbing). Window in the kitchen what looks into the dining room. The dining room is an extension, what she had put on. Double doors in kitchen to dining room. Dining room is very big, she currently has a table with 8 chairs in there, dark cream walls with laminate flooring (not cheap stuff, oak.) And a door to the left hand side which leads to a utility room. In here she has her washer, dryer, ironing board etc could easily get loads more in here! And double doors what lead onto the garden, which has one step down to a patio area, with grass further back. Garden approx 60ft long, 20ft wide. Living room is huge, corner suite in there with 2 chairs. Living room is white, apart from a purple feature wall, on the white walls she has had purple flowers painted on, 2 large ones and lots of smaller ones. Again, oak laminate flooring.

Upstairs is 3 bedrooms. No box rooms. Master bedroom fits her kingsize bed in, 2 x 3door wardrobes, chest of drawers (3 sets), dressing table and more with plenty of floor space. Black carpet, and walls are black with red patterns (very nice and modern). Bedroom 2; Fits a double bed and wardrobe in, with plenty of extra room in there. This is pink with laminate flooring. Bedroom 3; same size as bedroom 2, apart from this has blue carpet and green and blue walls. Bathroom is exceptionally large! It has a corner bath, shower on its own, toilet, sink, and a bumwasher thingy.

Her house is amazing. Id exchange with her but she doesnt want a main road. Shes looking for a large 1, or 2 bed house/flat. Due to her relationship ending, and her children moving out. Over 40 flats considered, as she is 48 now. She wants to stay in S5 area, and may move to chap/High green but thats it. She isnt fussed on the deco or anything as she will make her new home into her latest project (her words). Please PM with location, road, and size offered. She is willing to leave majority of her furniture, including sofa (which is black leather and grey material, about 2yrs old, cost her £5000) she knows she wont be able to get most of her furniture into a smaller home hence leaving stuff. She doesnt have any pets so its not full of cat/dog hair. All windows have blinds in, about 6months old. She really has no use for this place anymore and wants it to go to a family who'll look after it rather than someone who will get it for no reason but its big. My house is with Sheffield Homes so doubt I could excange to private renting and to be honest not sure I'd want to as the rent is more and it's not a long term secure tenancy which we like having with having kids, but thanks for you offer.

What I meant to say is we get too much for HB but not enough for private rent, your probably talking what £350-400 a month for private but about £300 for council rent, big difference especially over the year.
