Would anyone be intrested in a social group for self employed people in the HuntersBar/Nether Edge area. I have recently become self employed and its great but I do miss the weekly drinking trip to the pub with work colleagues. I was thinking a group of self employed people having a weekly pub meeting to genraly drink and moan about life would be good fun and be like having some surragate work colleagues. Anyone interested??

It's a good idea Nicky - I find it quite lonely sometimes, and you miss the basic human contact and interaction. However, there is a great little social network in various Italian coffee shops like Nonna's on Ecclesall Rd and Remo's in Broomhill. It's more sobering than the pub :)

Sounds great. You could sit around slagging off the boss and moaning about not getting a payrise.
