I was driving back from Meadowhall at 5.30 on Saturday night and police bikes stopped the traffic at Wicker arches. Then about 20 or 30 coaches came down from Spital Hill packed with people. They didn't look like celebs or military...just normal folk.

Why were they being escorted by police bikes?

No it couldn't possibly be...there were 20 coaches full!

Nah, that makes sense. Cheers.

More refugees on their way to town to pick out their free cars and nice flats?

Shiregreen gypsies who had broken the terms of their ASBOs, gone robbing at Meadowhall and been escorted to West Bar Police Station?

None mate. I lost my licence when I stole a Vauxhall Nova and got caught speeding round Shiregreen one night.

You're right about one thing. The Police spend too much time picking on us career criminals. :loopy:
