Just wondered if anyone knew if the major supermarkets are recruiting at the mo? Not Morrisons but Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys etc?

Websites no good as that's just for corporate careers and tried to ring Asds was on hold forever and then got cut off so thought someone may know?

sainsbury's in doncaster is on directgov jobs

if you want a job at asda you go and get a application form and fill it in and if there no vacancies then they hold your form for 6 months and ring if anything comes up.

tesco seem to be like asda and hold the form if no vacancies - is every one else fed up with on line application forms which take for ever to complete?

Anyone know if any of these are looking for supervisors?

You need to check everyday, as it is constantly changing........although i think most stores are overstaffed at the moment.

I would also like to know if any supermarkets are recruiting for cashiers. I will be keeping an eye on this thread.
