I live in sheffield and will be doing my training home based, on thursday friday saturday and sundays.. I want dogs so i can take a photo of what i do and build up a personal portfolio..
Please not you can ask for anything but for more advanced methods and hand shredding I will ask you to wait untill im confident i wont skin your dog! haha :s

Anybody or any rescue! if your a rescue I can collect or come to you if you have bathing facilities.

You can have a tinker with a big flapping German Shepherd if you want a larger dog for practice.

And you forgot to say that Brude isn't just any beagle - Brude is a Brude beagle and very, very special. I'm sure that if the OP wasn't doing anything exactly the right way, he'd be delighted to put her right. I think the only dog who can communicate better than him is Gromit! :hihi:

haha yeah il bath him and the german shepard haha.. i can pick up and bring to mine or i can do it at yours how ever you like, I dont have mobile facilities atm but have a garage with "stuff" in it haha..

You're welcome to shampoo our mutt if you want to practise on BIG lol, we haven't bathed him for nearly a year as we can't lift him in the bath. He's a Northern Inuit by the way and very heavy, plus he's always needing brushing!!!!!

Hi. we have a "cute n curly" bedlington terrier, (great nature) and 2 shihtzus, all 3 great softies, bathe/shampoo/cut, you decide, lol, blu, our bedlington at the mo is nice n furry and needs a lot off and he should make an excellent project for you!

sounds great everybody i should be able to get people booked in to the end of t his week, people who want baths only i can do sooner im waiting on my new oster clipers to come through the post before i can do clipping :) wooo cant wait to get my hands dirty hehe or clean!!! i will pm people when i can start :D

I have a very very well behaved Border Terrier who needs stripping..i usually do him myself ...but i think a proffesional job for a change would be great!!! He wont snap or bite...just wimpers a bit round his neck as he has some scars from being attacked 2 years ago. PM me if you fancy hand stripping :)

oh yes cruella i havnt hand stripped on a border terrier yet tho so you know!!! but up for the challange ..
so everybody knows, im booking dogs in to what equipment i have available at the moment ( going shopping for stuff at the weekend) and il get back to people this time next week, people who want clipped or scissors might be a few weeks I have basic scissors but to do it propperly im waiting on my set and my clippers to come through..

Please make sure you take out insurance before taking on any jobs. Cliverton and Pet Business Insurance, both tailored for groomers are both good. I use Pet Business Insurance which were offering the best deal at the time and I have always found to be spot on.
