It's an wonderful work by ACCT. It helps lot of people to get involved and to have social evenings with other people. Working with social groups will assist people with asperger syndrome by involving in one or the other activities the social group will organize.

Dear All

There are now three teenager groups that we are running and we currently have places available in all the groups.

There will be a new group starting for boys aged between 12 and 14 years and the first meeting will be on Thursday 25 February and will run weekly in the first instance.

The Girls Group meets alternate Wednesdays between 7pm - 9pm and the girls range between 12 to 16 years.

The other Boys Group meets once or twice a month (depending on the activities) and has members aged between 14 - 17 years.

All the groups meet in the city centre and do a mix of social skills training and fun activities such as bowling; cinema; laser zone; cafes; shopping - we let the teenagers decide what they would like to do! The groups are free of charge and led by experienced workers.

If you think your teenager is interested in coming along or you want further details then please let us know by emailing or by phone on 258 8223.
