All the world cup willie stuff my uncles gave us, and we had the world cup LP , wish i still had them though.
I remember that if you knew there was a wedding taking place in the neighbourhood, all us kids would gather outside the groom's house before he set out,
he would throw loads of loose change down for us to scramble for.
I think it was for luck, it seemed like a fortune to us then, (it was only 5d to get in the pictures.)
This was in the North East i moved to Sheffield in 1970
There was a lot of old houses being pulled down to make way for the modern developments, we used to enjoy exploring the old houses.

I was born at the tail end of 1960 and I remember seeing Jimi Hendrix on Top of the Pops in about 1967.
