The latest measures by the British Government on deporting known non-citizen terrorist sympathisers is drawing a lot of admiration from US people.
I would like to know what the Briton in the street thinks of these measures.
My own opinion is that muslims have been treated very fairly in Britain over the years, much better than their counterparts over here. As long as they remain a working and loyal part of the nation they should be welcome, but any that aid or encourage terrorists should be jailed and deported. It is up to Islamic leaders and clerics to police their own house if they want to stay.
Deport as many as possible, their families as well. We cant get rid of enough of them. They have been very well treat in this country but that obviously counts for nothing with them.

Yes I agree with nimrod get rid of all of them,they have no loyalty to this country and are a threat to us all.

Are you referring to the terror suspects, or muslims in general?
Have to agree with most of nimrod points. If the current probs existed in the muslim countrys"british living over there"what would be the outcome. Time to wake up and smell the coffee folks

Clamping down on these hate spewing clerics is long overdue and I think that the government has suddenly realised what the man in the street has known for some years now. Political correctness and pandering these people are luxuries that this country can no longer afford. I personally don't even have a problem with sending them back to countries which practice torture and executions ( a good reason to behave yourself, in your host country, methinks).
As for the majority of normal Muslims who just want to work, pay their taxes/bills etc and be a part of this nation......no problem. Having said that, there are a lot of them claiming every benefit going ( yes! there really are ) as if we haven't got enough scroungers of our own.
