Hi try hydra kids in ecclesfield they do catwalk parties where they all get dressed up with clothes make up etc and at the end put on a catwalk show not too sure of price though
sugarcandie 28-01-2010, 13:28 thought this would be brill for my daughter aged 10. We’ve done them all too, cinema, bowling, skating, even had a pink limo experience for about £90
Just been on the Hydra kids page http://www.hydrakids.co.uk/parties.html
... it's £19.95 per child and a minimum of 20 kids that’s almost £400 for a 2 hour party, that doesn’t include food and drinks either only nibbles.
do they know we are just (supposedly) coming out of a recession.
does anyone else think its kinda extortionate or am i just being tight?
Vicky

Vicky[/QUO i also think that is way too much, wouldnt be so bad at £19.95 per child if u could keep the numbers lower ie. 10 kids or something and if some food was involved.............thats way over my party budget

Completely agree with you Vicky, its ridiculous! Hydrakids nowt special anyway, small venue, filthy tables, very expensive, same old chicken nuggets type menu, wouldn't go again in a hurry.
Does anyone know of pamper parties in S9 area or S2 area. Either at a salon or anyone who comes to the home? I am not looking to spend a fortune tho'. Also does anyone know how much it costs for these pink limo type experiences? Or these party buses I have heard of? :help:

Hi Kizzy, the party will not be until June. But is an idea in my daughters head, which I have agreed to in principle. She says she would prefer a party at home, but could you let me know roughly what you would charge for say about 7 girls, just to put makeup on them, maybe do hair and let me know what other things you do. My daughter will be 9.:help:
ClicketyClic 18-02-2010, 08:40 We are a photography company who work closely with a makeup artist that travels so I'm sure we could arrange a make up and photography session. I have PM'd you with more details.
Check out http://www.sparkles-events.com they have many party packages to suit boys and girls and they can put together a party to suit your requirements and budget. Why not give Lucy a ring, you will find her contact number and email on the website.
Hope you find what you are after.
Thanks for that, I will have a look.
Can anyone else give me a price who does kiddies parties? It doesn't need to be too fancy just do make-up or nails.
Thanks Rachel for contacting me, I will prob contact you if I can.(It wouldn't be a big party). Just need someone to help keep kids occupied while I deal with party food!
Kizzy, are you still around to advise me further?
What about nail painting for each of the people invited?

For boys i do character make-up (fake cuts/bruises, super heroes, pirates etc.)
And for both I do face painting.

We combine pampering and party together so she will get best of both. All packages include VIP badges, Posh drinks on arrival, Group or individual pamper sessions (nails, hair, make up, glitter, tattoos, diamante gems and more...), music, disco, games and prizes all included. See what you think.
Good luck either way

a mate of mine took her daughter to a katie perry party, ie all the girls came as KP - wigs, make up etc. Fortunately there were no boys - presumably they would have come as russell brand (horror). Apparently it worked well.
