Been let down by Walnut Club in Hathersage. Took my booking for 12,went to discuss arrangements told only cater for 8 at a time. Not a good way to encourage business in a new restaurant.So new venue needed for 12 or could include husbands and double numbers.
Anyone been to Vitos at Crookes recently or Ranmoor Tandori?
Want quality not pretentious venue.

Alternative could be w/e away. Any thoughts?

We went to the Dore Moor Inn for my mum's 50th birthday, Im sure they would be able to take a booking for 12, we kinda had a private bit too, it was very nice, proprieters very nice and friendly.

I'd go the The Mustard Pot at Midhopestones, it's the best food i've had around here and they definitely cater for groups but you'd need a minibus to take you.

Thanks for the responses. Will try Midhopestones with husband as I'm not keen on minibus idea. Dore Moor Inn is a definite possibility and not too far to travel + other local pubs to visit first

Looking for ideas for my mums birthday next month. Its her 50th

Myself, and sisters are doing something seperately on the friday before her birthday but on the Saturday, we're going for a meal- they will be 7 of us, and a bit lost for ideas on where to go.
They leave at s12, so it has to be easy enough to get to. We went to the Mossbrook at eckinghton last year for my dads which was nice, but dont really want to do the same thing.
I'd thought about viva tequilla/Damons but been there a few times
