Reaqding your posts it seems like you have already decided you want the car so is this some way of acquiring a scapegoat in the event that anything is seriously wrong with the car?

Take a gamble and go for it. There you are - one scapegoat.

I know, but I will not hold it against you. So - are you going for the car or what?

Why ask the question in the first place when you have already almost made up your mind?

Why does it seem odd - four owners with low milage? Perhaps the car was not to their liking?

What is your problem? Just buy the damned thing and have done.

If you have the slightest doubts about the Golf Tdi then walk away. Is it very cheap compared to others?

Had to get rid of my Golf (1.8 engine) due to fuel cost mainly and clutch being very very stiff, (I've got problems with my legs), Mot coming up in October and I need to sort out break pipes, CV boot, rear shock absorber etc... Which i fear may add up...
Been offered £900 for it, and I've seen this Golf TDi (N reg) at a garage:

61000 miles on the clock, 4 owners which I thought was a bit on the high side for that mileage? And no service history, just 1 old MOT and the current one ends in April 2006.
The car is near mint, the clutch is a dream! and, above all, it is economical!

Should I go for it??

Depends how much its going for

Your link far from works by the way.
