I have currently a studio in the Peak District and would like to relocate into Sheffield centre or as close as possible.

As such Im looking for anybody that would be interested in collaborating in the creation and shared use of a studio space in Sheffield.

Im aiming to find 4 photographers including myself for the project. Currently I have positive interest from two others so we would be looking for the fourth.

The unit we are looking at currently as an example is a 1100sqft space with a 900sqft shooting space.
Cost of which is £115 per week excluding rates, utilities etc. This equates to a weeks flexible use of studio space for roughly £150 each per month.

Currently hire studios are approximately £30 per hour on average so this would be a considerable saving to anybody who regularly uses studio facilities.

These figures are only rough estimates but if the idea is of interest please contact me at james@iso25.co.uk

Thanks for your time
James

How would you be organizing the lighting kit etc that is also usually part of a studio hire?

In terms of equipment.. I have some kit that I'm prepared to transfer to the new studio, however.. It does depend on the individuals involved and what equipment they already have available and their preference to equipment also. Would you have equipment already?

James

I tend to hire a studio when need be, so possess no studio lighting.
It's not something I do often enough of at present to warrant the investment.

Hi James,

are you thinking of creating a company with 4 partners or just sharing a space between 4 different companies/individuals? Is the space already converted for use, with facilities such as dressing rooms, kitchen, toilets, editing suite etc?

Best wishes,

Andy
