Spital Hill (pittsmoor) is full of excellent places to eat
ok theyre not that classy to look at but the food is top quality on many of them

Best thing is you can get stuffed on a fiver!!!

YES really!!!

Example :
The kurdistan restaurant , if you like grilled meat dishes youll love this one.
Ask for the kurdish kebab special.
You get 2 kurdish kebab skewers with naan bread and salad for a fiver, great stuff.

La Mangla is reputed to be the best value curry house in Sheffield. I've only had takeaway from there but there's a dining area as well.

Mangla is the best curry house in Sheffield, in my opinion. And superb value for money too.

I think it depends which curry you have as to how much oil is in it. I had a Madrass from the Manga last night and it was oily, the oil settles on the top so I just took it off before eating. It was a top curry!

I went to Mangla for the first time last week and it was pretty nice. I have to say I preffered the food from Gulshan on the Wicker though.

I have a chicken bhuna when I go to Mangla and thats almost a dry curry when they cook it.. which is just how I like it... I hate these soupy ghee filled curries other places do.

I haven't tried Gulshan but I think its run by the guy who started mangla and its apparently very good indeed.

Gulshan is the dogs ********!

A lot better than the mangla in my opinion
But then again different people like different things i guess.
All a matter of personal taste

Got to give a shout out to the Kashmir - the original and the best curry house on Spital Hill. Great value and very friendly.
